I can hardly wait .

Godmans..don't put your summers on too early. Look at these pics I dug up from last year. I took my snows off too early and also towed my boat home and looky what happened April23/05. Lots of freakin snow.

I'd rather wear out my winters on dry pavement ( even wet ) than have to take one drive on my summers in the snow. Summers plus snow equals not go.

I live in Kincardine. The weekend that we had that snowfall was when we were plannining our spring meet. We postponed it and had it at Square One on May 1st. We even had a little bit of hail and sleet at that meet.
I'm looking forward to more meets this year.

jeez... I can't remember a late April like that in the GTA. The rule of thumb for me is first week in April summers go on and has been ok for as long as I can remember.

Looking at Colin's post, it reminds me of 1990 when the temps were so warm is mid March we had shorts on and it stayed like that for the rest of the season. Not for anything Wayne, but you guys get it really bad up there.

i heard that we are supposed to have lower then average temps this spring.

And it normally does snow once in April, or at least the temps go down enough to make the summers borderline useless. If you "have" to put the summers on, at least keep in mind you may be stuck unable to use your car for a day or two.

The weather for March 11 & 12 looks great, but it kind of scares me. This has been a very weird winter for us. What's next, snow in July!

Ya man, as you can see (and hear), anything is possible for March and April, and we usually get a little of everything.

I wouldn't remove the snows just yet....like Whatacar says, better to be safe than sorry.

I actually posted that long range forecast last evening because I was experimenting with editing my pics (photoshop)...and finally figured out that I had to use bmap format to be able to do what I wanted.

Don't get too overjoyed with forecasts....they're so changeable and unreliable that it's hard to plan ahead too far.
I'd say that judgeing by the past so called 'winter', that the trend will continue and that we'll have a great spring, but be prepared for anythng while hoping for the best.

Have a fun trip, Pontian.....we'll all hook up when you return.

Colin
