Hi there,
Firstly you should refer to your vehicle drivers manual for such simple info. If you're on this discussion forum, asking such basic questions without even consulting your drivers manual than honestly you are not worthy of a such a vehicle. Anyhow the 1st one is to be done by 6000Km I believe. Secondly the oil change is something which you should not do yourself etc. Obviously the Infiniti dealership is prepared to install the proper filters, oil etc..The car does not take Synthetic oil of course. As for the filter if u contact the service/parts dept. they will provide you with the exact Nissan model/part number if u want to have a third party service do the oil change.

Re: When should i do my first oil change?
Of course i know what the Driver's Manual said, the point is that lots of ppl say it is better to change the oil at 3k or even 2k for a new car... So i'm confused to either listen to those who changed the oil earlier or stick with the manual, maybe i should rephrase the question...
Anyhow, i don't think reading the owner's manual has anything to do rather a person worthy such a vehicle or not (though i do read the manual okay?!), the things that matter is if one looks good in the ride; and when we see a old fat biatch sitting in g35c, now that's what you talking about not worth the vehicle, and i'm definetely not those type, are you? Re: When should i do my first oil change?
Hey,
I did not mean to be so vulgar. My apologies. With these vehicles an oil change is not necessary at such an early stage. What u hear are myths to be quite honest. Of course u can do as you please. People do it earlier and they just psychologically feel better, although does not make any difference for these well made Japanese engines. P.S. I was not in any way implying that you are some fat biatch etc..where did that come from? lol.

Re: When should i do my first oil change?
I'm also wondering rather i should start rev over 4000 rpm after the first oil change, or i can go over 4000 rpm after the 3000km break-in period? I can't wait no more, my G is begging me to start driving fast (i seriously feel the engine is begging for speed!)
PS. You didn't implied anything, maybe i should state more clearly, what i am saying is my definition of someone not worth a vehicle is by their appearance and style, not by reading the manual like geek or not... the old fat biatch is just one of my example not worth the vehicle, lol, you are not one, are you?

Re: When should i do my first oil change?
Odd... my dealer offered me my first (break-in) change at 1500 klicks at no charge.
Did anyone else get this offer?

hmm is infiniti special special that you have to change so early???
For Honda cars, the recommend you to go the full 6000km or 8000km depending on your car..
They use special oil to break-in the engine..
