Dang, you guys have got the itch big time haven't you.

Chico, the Daytona is a sweet ride.....and your pic has me hankering for another sport bike. I still miss my Suzi 1100E (red too) -- a real dream to ride.

Mybe I should think about getting a 'partner' instead of another toy tho. hmmm..

Hey Colin,

Didn't know you were a biker too. The Suzi 1100 was quite a machine. I last had a Honda 1000 interceptor.

Who knows about the partner thing. The toys don't need too much attention or talk back to you.

Deane

Sweet for sure bro. I was actually looking at the GSXR before my Dad mentioned he once had a Triumph and so did my Grandpa and they were the best bikes ever. So I looked into it and it was love at first sight. They are classy, sporty, light, comfortable and one of a kind on the road. Gotta support the British!

Chico and Deane,
"Rule Britannia" .......... yeah I was born limey and b4 leaving England I remember many of my Dad's bikes. I think biking is in a Brit's genes, and is certainly a way of life over there. .

I never got the biking bug really until I was 35 and instantly fell in love with it. I quickly progressed to the 1100E and loved it.....What a machine, and far beyond my capabilities.....but boy did it feel good to know I was on one of the fastest bikes ever.....
I gave it up because my son Michael was thinking of taking up biking, so I thought I'd set a better example for him.. Thank God it worked....

......but I miss it....and I'm hoping my old bones will get back on a bike someday.
It probably shouldn't be more than a Moped, but 2 wheels sure is fun...

Colin

Well it's nice to see that I'm not the only one that gets this kind of itch. Like Chico, I'm waiting very impatiently for the new M3 sedan. Since I've gotten married, I've had to curb my 'itch', but my wife knows how much I love the M3 (sold my 3 series for the G), so she's already okayed the purchase.

In the meantime, I thinking of satisfying the itch with some new rims (maybe the 20's that are coming off of Chico's car)

What part of jolly ole are you from? My wife is from Manchester and Man-U is obviously her favorite soccer team. If I want to start an argument with my inlaws, I just ask what happened to Man-U this season and tell them how great Chelsea is doing

I know what you mean about the spring bug -- I've been thinking two-seater sports car lately

Been there ... done that ... too. I had one too before we got married and sold it to clear some debt so we could start free and clear. Only ridden my friend's bikes since then and it would be a major battle to get one now. It's been about 15 years for me too Deane. Well, we can still dream

Haha, BbyG35, we're from down Croydon way, just about half-way between the train station and the airport......you know, the part that got flattened about 60 odd yrs ago......

Man-U was one of our faves too, tho it's been some time since we did the pools and took much notice of football..... Lots of water under the bridge.

A 2 seater you say....like a 350Z, or how about a Z06? go for it....

I think my wife could be convinced now but she wouldn't be too happy for a while. Either that or it would take a major bribe- nice trip or something like that for her.

Hope training is going well Peter. I'm on the sidelines right now with a hamstring pull.
