Rim Repair ? Near Kitchener?

Teresa Holden, The Wheel Fix <bigteresa@sympatico.ca>
For something like this, I'm thinking Uxbridge is close enough. When I was living in Kingston, On, I figured it was. Yours to decide. Fixing wheels is what these folks do. Others here may be able to comment as to the quality of their work. I was given them to contact from other G35 members, but sold my first G just prior to getting the work done. Theresa was quick in responding, and was able to provide a conditional quote from a digital photo of the rash.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
D

The Rim Doctor on old King St. in Kit.. Same Rd. as the LCBO near Fairview.
They were recommended to me by Waterloo Nissan when one of my rims was leaking air. ( highway pothole at speed, at night
)They were unable to fix the rim because of the extensive dammage ( rim was oval ) but they offered me a good price on a new set of rims because the tire guy who took off the rim scratched it up pretty good. Cost me $20 and three days on the donut ( not from Krispy Kream ).
Not recommending them, just letting you know they exist.
Oh yeah, they said the paint for the Infiniti rims was hard to match
.Ended up buying a used on on the Forum.
Good luck.
Thanks so much guys~!

Hi Mike, did you happen to use any of these guys to repair the RIM, I just hit mine and I just sent them pics. Will see what they come up with but on the phone he told me around $180.
I called Infiniti in Guelph and they said that they do not have info about the rim colour. Great the INFINITI ppl does not know what they have!
Who you're gonna call??
Ghost busters?

btw - this thread was 4 years old and Mike hasn't posted anything since 2007. I don't know if you will get a reply from him.

As for Guelph Infiniti, they are a dealership, and a good one. They do not paint or do rim repairs so they have no need to know the exact colour codes for the wheels.
Grave diggin but oh wells.
I've dealt with a lot of wheel shops, Rim Doctor is weird, they refuse pretty much everything. So I wouldn't bother.
Precision Rim in Weston is what's up. The website and building is sketchy but they're 100% trust worthy and do amazing work. As Bhav mentioned above, Curbed, they even send some of their **** to Precision.

^+2 I've had a set refinished by precision with some curb rash and they did an excellent job and price was very fair. And yeh, the building is MAAAAAD sketchy but well worth the trip lol
Guys, that is very good information. Thanks a lot!
Yes, I did se the comments were old but I was hoping some one else would see them and guess what? It happened, so thanks again.
I did call rim doctor and sent him couple of pics but never heard back, so I was planing to stop by tomorrow Saturday and he told me on the phone without looking at the rim that I was looking around the $180 to $200 bracket.
So I am going to check out the 2 places you mention here.
Cheers!

When I went to him (06 ish) he told me the same thing and charged me $20 to have someone else take the tire off.......... and then he couldn't do the rim. Had to drive around for three days on the donut while he figured out he couldn't do the fix. Ended up buying a used OEM on the classifieds. GL
