Finally did it... put my car up for sale

After many sleepless nights (well sort of), I decided to sell my 2003.5 6MT G35 sedan. It was a difficult decision, but the upside is... my wife has agreed to me picking up a used 350Z to replace it.

Not sure how quickly it will sell, but I already have me eye on a low km 2003 350Z performance model.

If all works according to plan (bid word "IF") by the end of April I should be driving a different car.

NE1 interested? --PM me

Are you putting the car back to stock before you sell?

If the prospective purchaser is not interested in any of the mods I've done then they'll be up for sale.

Most likely the exhaust will come off as not everyone appreciates it.

i welcome you to the dark side! hahaha , But a suggestion...i've heard that the 03's have abit of a bouncy ride, and the 04.5-05+ have the revised suspension that solves that issue...so dunno if you want to consider looking for one of those as well.

unless of course, you're planning to do suspenison work on the Z anyways.

Hey noodleman... you can take some of the credit/blame for my decision... showing us those wheels and all

I already have plans for the 2003, but if it falls through I'll keep your advice in mind.

PS... I've already been snooping around under the alias of 240Zplus110 on the my350z.com board -- the name seemed appropriate since my first car was a 1972 240Z

haha, nice nice!

I'll take the credit, and if there's anything to blame, it's not my fault the Z is SEXY! hahahaha.

I would also stay away from an 03, since the one i had the tranny had to be replaced after 20,000 kms and the tire feathering issue

Ditto for me

Put mine up for sale as well. Love the car, but just want a change. May opt for a Z (I love the roofline of the coupe), but would really love an E46 M3.

Nice!

Not to hijack this thread - Just put down a deposit on a pre-owned 2005 Silverstone Z, only 10000 kms. Got a fantastic deal as far as I'm concerned. No Brembos, I know, but I wanted the leather interior more than I wanted the bigger brakes. Saw some M3's that I liked, but the price differential wasn't within my comfort zone.

I'd love to keep the G sedan and the Z, but the G will have to go.

jasonintoronto - did you drop your Z? if so, what springs did you go with?

Thanks Wayne. Am hopefully picking it up tomorrow, and then it's on to deciding on springs and summer wheels/rubber.

Question - 3M clearbra - what is a fair price to have 3M applied to the front of the car? I will call around but was interested in what you paid.

Joel, I had them put it on with my car deal. Generally around here it ranges from $300 to $600 depending on how much you get done. They will do just the front of your hood and fenders or they can also do total front bumper and side mirrors also. Most important is to get a shop with good references. Check with other guys around Calgary for a reputable shop.
It was one of the best things that I did to the car.
Have fun tomorrow .
Wayne
