As for the Thruxton's, they look nice - even better in real life - but they are not available anymore from what I can gather through my wheel guy - and he has switched some customers out of them because of the wait. The Laguna has a nice big lip on it too - it's a 5 star split spoke - go to tsw.com to see it.

The only other comment about the Thruxton is that it's a "wannabe" 3-piece - done for cosmetic appearance only - and is obviously not a 3-piece wheel. It still does look nice.

Even if you can still find some Thruxtons, they aren't available in 20" - though I'm not sure what size you're after.

I'm also lowering the car a bit with H&R springs at the same time. I'll post some pics when it's done - the wheels were ordered yesterday from California, so they'll probably take a week to come in - or however long UPS takes.

Hope that helps. The Mondello's (IMHO) don't suit the car - though they are a nice wheel. Go to a wheel shop, and get them to place a wheel on a stand in front of your existing wheel, and see what YOU think.

I think you'll find that availability will play a role in your decision as well as what you like.

Good luck!

Mike
I hope your wheels come with tires already mounted. UPS is notorious for bending wheels, especially if they're coming by ground service. They will be handled at least 8 times before you get them at your door. Believe me...I know!!

Hey Chico - yeah, I am familiar with UPS, however, my buddy in Barrie does a ton of business with TSW - so if there's anything that he's not happy with, we'll get replacements fired up right away. He's a perfectionist, and doesn't take shortcuts, or try to pass off shoddy products/workmanship - which is why he's been in business so long, and also why he has such a long-term and loyal customer base.

If there's any problem at all upon delivery, I'll be sure to let you guys know!

Well, the new set I got from Japan came but two of the wheels were bent and had to send them back. Did I mention UPS is a piece of $hit?? I had to find a new set in a hurry 'cause my old ones were already sold. I was lucky enough to find one from one of my guys in CA and they sent it Fedex overnight, but haven't had time to install them yet as I've been travelling quite a bit. Pics soon to come.

Awwww man, that's enough to make you cry after all that planning and waiting. But it is all coming together for you now, and look forward to seeing the new Mr 20's

#3. #1 reminds me of the OEM 19's, and #2 looks as if it would suit a *bling bling* SUV

#2, the laguna's are alright, but I like how the spokes slant up to the lip (but are not attached). I saw a set of these on a cover of Modified Mag on a S15 silvia - its sweet. don't like the thruxtons or the first one either.

so, just #2 please....
Al
