Hey Sam..
eshine ships very quickly; you'll get it within a couple of days.
Also;
Do you have a garage to work in...
don't forget we're still talking about water & freezing temps.
Yesterday was mild & I still had to do small panels & dry it before it started freezing.

No garage presently and the wind here is brutal.
Guess I'll go to eshine.
Thanks for the sobering comments. The G looks so dirty and I've got nowhere to wash. Used the spray booth midweek and it helped some. But he coin machine was frozen so it cost me 8 bucks for a $3 wash. Plus they have me on video when I gave it a few good wacks to help it along.

, that has happened to me at local DIY car wash also. The one good thing with my present car is after a quick rinse down it looks pretty good because of the lighter colour. One other thing Sam, I have found a local detailer (just a 5 minute drive from my house) who will clean my car inside and out for $40 when it gets really gungy. I figure I will utilize his services every so often during the frigid months. I thought this will help keep the baby clean since I don't have a garage either.
Heck I wished I lived a bit closer to Kevin so I he could perform some of his magic on our car (I think he is around 2.5-3 hours away.)

I have been admiring your work quality in this thread, and I must say it is very impressive. It is always interesting to see the difference in quality between a novice detailer (of which i think of myself) and someone who has truly mastered the artform.
I was wondering what your opinion was on Poorboy's detailing products, specifically there cutting polishes (SSR 2.5 and 1). I have never really heard of the products and have been mainly been using OTC polishes myself. I am really looking to work on my detailing skill this coming spring, and would like some more info on the products you use yourself.

When you're detailing will you be working in the sun, or in a covered area?
Hi Kevin,
BRRRRR, quite a cold winter. I was in the garage yesterday and found all my detailing stuff was really, really cold if not frozen
. I your opinion, is it still usable. This included not only all the stuff you got for me on that trip south but my zaino leather cleaner and conditioner. I've got it thawing in the basement now.
Thanks

The leather stuff is probably ok; the rest of it is questionable.
There are two tell tale signs though; when the stuff thaws give it a really good shake. If it doesn't go back to it's original consistency it's no good. The second is the smell, open them up and if they smell bad (rancid) they are no good.
Otherwise keep them around and give them a try in spring.
