I think I have it under control....
It'll be a couple of weeks, by the time the parts come in etc....

In the mean time I'm enjoying the MREV-2

I took some time and installed the Mrev-2, but I didn't feel any noticeable difference

If you didn't reset the ECU it'll take a few days.
Drive her hard for a while.

I thought the same at first.
But I def have more torque than with the spacer.

I haven't even heard of that.

Deane, I'll be selling my spacer too...

I'm sure there'll be guys trying to run the spacer and MREV2.
They show great gains together, but you really need engine mgmt for it to work properly.
The ECU can/may/will pull timing because of the changed A/F ratio.

There isn't a huge power difference between running the spacer vs MREV2.
To me the MREV2 feels like it makes better torque than the spacer. (gota luv Torque )
The engine is definitely smoother with the MREV2.
I noticed it right away in the sound of the exhaust.

Thanks for the info Ian. I prefer the feel of a torquey powerplant as opposed to higher revving more peaky engines, so the MREV2 is of interest. Just may have a hard time continually laying out more coin for every upgrade that comes along. Selling the spacer locally in Halifax is an unlikely proposition.
Interesting comment about the smoothness. I'll look forward to seeing it in person some day.

I almost wrote that in my reply but didnt' want to jack the thread. My wife and I would love to make the trip. I think it was Colin that mentioned someone who was going to coordinate. Maybe we should start a thread and get this moving along so everyone interested can plan for it. Wada ya think??

I agree with Adirondacks, K and I are going around June 22. She's off this week, so we are fishing for the next 7 days (I got the boat in ) She had mentioned that she can get a few days off around the 22nd of June so we were thinking of going then.
Wayne

Edit....it was Eric (Hold Out) who was talking originally about the trip, but he was really tied up with work when he emailed me last time. I just sent him another email.

Wayne, Can you go a bit later? We would love to see you folks again but won't be available until until at least July 7 to leave here. School ends June 30 for Heather and I have several court dates with the last scheduled one on July 6.

See my Adirondacks thread

Hi Deane
I just mentioned it to Karen and it is impossible for her in July .I was hoping on getting together again also. I did send Eric an email and perhaps he can set it up later for everyone.
Man I wish I could talk her into packing the job in, it cuts into our liesure time.
