Anyone have their coupe lowered in GTA?
Anyone have their coupe lowered in GTA?
I'm trying to decide which springs to get for my coupe.
I don't want to spend the money on coilovers and in the past have lowered many of my cars quite a bit (2") because I love the look but I'm getting too old for the horrible ride it provides, so I thought I'd ask you guys which springs you used and perhaps I could see them at one of our meets, so I can tell how they look in person and perhaps go for a ride to feel them?
I'm interested mainly for looks, as I do not track or autox the car.
Thanks
Peter

Hi Peter,
I just put H&R lowering springs on my car last weekend with 20" wheels. I expected the ride to be harsh - I've lowered cars before on Eibach's, and they were harsh - but these are very nice.
I was (and am) surprised by the ride.
If you want to check it out, PM me, and we can meet up - I work in Markham, near 16th and Woodbine, and would be happy to demonstrate these springs for you. I also have a buddy that owns a wheel/tire/suspension shop that I can put you in touch with.
Give me a shout if you're interested.
Mike
ps - there are some shots of my car in a recent thread called "summers are on - mods are done"
