Am I being Bull Shi**ed by JRP?

I orderd the Tein H-Techs for my 04" G Sedan (sport suspntion) 3 weeks ago from JRP in Brampton, Steve has been dicking me around on the arrival date of these springs and he has the S-Techs in stock he wants to sell me. I was talking to him today and and he is saying that for the sedan I will not need a rear camber kit with the S-Techs they should be able to put it back to factory specs with a 1.3 inch drop. If any of you sedan owners have S-Techs with stock sport suspention can you let me know if there is any truth to this or is this guy trying to unload these springs just to get rid of them? I would like the drop of the S-techs more but don't want to spend anymore money on shocks or a camber kit.

thanks in advance for your help

I think that over 1" drop you won't be able to get back to factory alignment specs. Maybe close, but still some negative camber.

JRP is full of ****...Don't let them sell you what they have in stock. Personally, I can't stand them. They overcharge, are arrogant and ignorant in many ways.

In your case the S-Tech will NOT allow you to bring your car remotely close to specs. You would need a complete camber kit front and rear and very likely new shocks like D-Specs to work better with those springs.

Run from them and avoid them like the plague. All they care about is the next sale.

What is wrong with all of these aftermarket import shops these days? It doesn't seem like there are any that care about the customer that is feeding their bank accounts. I don't get it. I have had so many problems with KHF/Kensai Racing that it's not even funny. Isn't there someone out there that wants to make their customers happy?????

How do you go about doing that? I don't know of any shops in the US that are close to the border. Let me know and I might take a drive this weekend.

I use the online suppliers.
Many such as EverythingG35 have a searchable parts store.
Most parts ship USPS come through w/o any duty.
After I look up the part I want, I phone rather than use the online store.
That way I'm sure shipping is set up & he'll often discount for G35Driver Premium members.

I just bought rear diff side bearings for my pumpkin project $45.
They're well over $100 from the stealers here.

For something large, tires wheels, body parts etc you can drop ship to Buffalo.
Then clear them yourself.
More info HERE

i, too, have huge reservations about ever using JRP. when they tried to get into audi/vw tuning (i used to have an A4) they gave everyone horrible service. they even lost their rights to sell APR.

avoid JRP!!

nTgr8r thanks for the info man I will definitely give them a try next time I want a part for the G.
On another note I've decided to go with the Tein S-Techs I was on the Tein website and I really like how the car looks with the S-techs plus no one has showed me a sedan with H-techs and I heard they hardly drop the car. We'll see how long the stock suspension lasts before I have to start upgrading.

+ 1 for buying from the U.S. As much as I hate sending money over the border with the exchange rate, USPS shipping, and much better service it's way hard to justify buying aftermarket parts in Canada.
