Digital Wheelz Help!! CHUCK HELP ME OUT!!

Hey guys,

I purchased the 700V and installed myself w/ some help from Chuck (aka god of cpu) last year. just about 3 weeks ago I was involved in a rear end collision (dude hit me) and this caused my screen to flop down into the cubby hole and the ribbon cable holder fell back into the dash somewhere. I have informed HIS insurance (happens also to be mine - allstate) and they are requesting some sort of invoice for damage. They want a qualified/authorized shop to state that the damage warrants replacement, that the damage is/was a direct result of the accident and costs/expenses to replace the unit. I can no longer get a picture on the screen. I previously had screen issues w/ a loose clip, but thought i had them resolved w/ some tape. I am looking to replace my unit with a new 700V unit from mp3car.com.

How do you guys think I should proceed?? I think it's best to just replace this unit, heck maybe even upgrade to the 700TSV?? his insurance is paying for it as it was a direct cause but im just wondering WHO I can get this estimate from other than the man himself CHUCK aka GOD OF CPU!! I need to fax the invoice to my adjuster to get the $$ to buy the new unit!!

Did you buy the screen from mp3car.com? The invoices are available under your account info if you did.

I'd replace the entire unit.

You can probably get it working though - use the old unit for rear viewing!
