Carputer & Stock Nav

Alright guys, thanks to helpful people here on driver I have my DVD set up working great. Now it's time to move on to the Carputer. I am using the tvandnav2go unit for video in which hace RCA composite video inputs. My difficulty is going from the PC(mini ATX) to the RCA input. I have tried and converter (PCtoTV) has great quality from component but composite was horrible. I then tried an Nvidia video card. Same situation. Quality when converting th S-Video to composite was less than impressive. I am not attempting an ATI card which said it has S-Video encoding and to no avail.
Heres a little info on my system:

Nvidia Mini ATX motherboard, I have 2 diff hard drives one with Ubuntu Linux and the other with XP, neither are working with the ATI card on TV Out.

My questions:
What did you guys use to get to stock nav screen from the carputer?
Did you use a DC-DC Power supply or an inverter? I have the power supply but I dont think 120W will power the PC with the video card and all.

Been about a week now working on this nonstop and its driving me crazy! HELP!!!!!

p.s. I will post pics of my DVD set up soon.
Thanks!!

I don't believe I know of anyone using a stock nav for their carputer. Prantik was using the digitalwheels adaptor and a xenarc touchscreen.

Check out http://www.mp3car.com they have great forums and faq's regarding all this carputer stuff!

Cheers
