I had just checked this morning, and it wasn't there. Guess I have to check again. Thanks for the updates!

Chuck,

Thanks for getting this out!!!! I ordered mine this afternoon when I spotted the updates in this thread!!

Thanks again, can't wait to use it!

BTW ... I need some expertise from everyone who has already installed a Car PC in their G. I have an 05 sedan and was looking for the best way to route my cables. I noticed some threads with instructions for the coupe, but I am looking for specifcs on the sedan. Anyone who could give some pointers I would appericate it.

Also have any of you guys hard-wired the power for the LCD screen to get around plugging the power cable into the cigerette/power port?

Probably most people who oput a CarPC in their G have hardwired it. I am using one hardwired DC-DC power supply for my CarPC in the trunk, and then another Carnetix Dual outputput DC-DC power supply up front for a USB hub, a DVD drive, and the screen.

You can either hack apart the cigarette adapter and use its DC-DC functionality or you can run a cable for 12v from your computer PSU

I chose to run a cable since those cig adapters are really cheaply made and are prone for failure

I'd be scared to run my $700 screen directly off of a car's electrical system anywho. Carnetix P1900 in the front same as Caelric (powering screen, USB hub & usb drive).

Would I be able to cut off the one end of the cigerette adapter and run two long wires back to my power supply in the trunk? Is that safe?
