Polishing/Waxing "menu"

I've come up with a few options on what steps to take for waxing my G. Which combination of product types has worked best for those detailing experts out there (in terms of durability and shine)? I'm also looking to avoid overkill.

1) clay - prewax cleaner (Mother's, Menzerna FPII, etc) - all in one (Klasse, Meguiar's, Menzerna Acrylic Jacket, etc.)
2) clay - prewax cleaner - synthetic sealant (Menzerna FMJ, Klasse SG, Meguiar's #21)
3) clay - prewax cleaner - all in one - synthetic sealant
4) clay - prewax cleaner - glaze - synthetic sealant

I know there's some Zaino aficionados out there, but I don't think Zaino is for me. Thanks!

prewax cleaner is a fine polish with perhaps some chemical cleaners to remove dirt, oxidation, and fine swirls to provide a smooth, clean surface for for waxing.

a glaze has a little polish in it but also fills in fine scratches.

a sealant has no cleaners or abrasives. it provides protection to the polished surface and enhances gloss.

an all-in-one, like the Meguiar's Gold Class that you use, has fine polishing agents, some chemical cleaners, and a wax/sealant to protect the clearcoat. it's meant to do everything you need in one step.

wash, clay, wash, (PO 103FF if u have deeper scratches) FPII, FMJ is what i do, with optional wax afterwards, but the fmj alone leaves the car looking perfect.

Isn't #21 a sealant and not a glaze/polish?

wow so many options

i guess i'm not as experienced in this as i thought i was

I also use mr clean to wash it
Then let it dry really quick
Meguiar's liquid wax and wipe/polish it off with fine synthetic cloth.
Sometimes i use spray on wax if i'm in a hurry ........
Takes me bout 1.5 to 2 hrs
I do this two times a wheek (if it was raining) most of the time just once a week
Looks very shiny going to do it probably today or maybe tomorrow, I'll show you guys some pix after.

Joker the procedure I mention I only do twice a year.
After that I wash like anyone else and wax once a month or use quick detailer as you mentioned

I don't think its #26 either, #26 is meguiar's high tech yellow wax which is primarily carnuaba based. All of meguiar's glaze/polishes are single digits ie 2,3, 7, 9, etc. only #80 speed glaze is up there. I would use #26 as to top #21 instead of NXT, since #21 and NXT have similar characteristics, but #21 is longer lasting. #21 only comes in the 64 oz however, so a good substitute is #20 polymer sealant followed by #26 or another carnuaba based product.
