Removing Scratches, Deep Scratches..

Yeah well on my 06 G35 on the left side of the front bumper, i have no idea what happened but theres a deep scratch about 2" long and it is very noticeable, its deep enough to show something black, i dont know if thats the primer or actual bumper plastic. Well i searched for alot of options besides dropping a couple of hundred bucks for a 2" scratch. I stumbled on this site..

http://www.ehow.com/how_3378_fix-scratch-car.html

so far thats the best solution i have found, can anyone tell me if there is a better way? I appreciate any help thanks!

Sounds like a scratch deep all the way to the plastic. The only way to fix that really is touch-up paint, touch-up clearcoat, and a full polish, buff, wax of the area. If you go to autopia.org, I think there's a how-to on fixing this type of paint damage.

Good luck!
