Cheap plastic on door panels-scratches easily!

What is up w/ the cheap plastic Infiniti used on our door panels? I've barely had my coupe for 3 weeks, and I've already noticed about 5 nicks in the driver-side door panel! I've figured out it's probably just from the seat belt buckle making contact when I grab it. I can't believe how easily this damage is occuring and some of this has happened AFTER using the 303 Aerospace protectant! Does anyone else have this problem? It concerns me a lot because I'm leasing this car and I don't want to be charged for this BS when I turn the car back in. This is some very p*ss-poor quality material, I must say.

The titanium trim is no better.

Mine's not scratched (titanium trim) at all in 6 months... I put CG on it about two months ago, too. I follow that up every few weeks, and you can feel the protection-- slick, doesn't get knicks, etc. I can now safely drop my car keys and not have a heart attack...

Where are your scratches, specifically? Along the doorliner or on the trim?

On the plastic door liner (the edge of the door, not the cushy stuff or titanium.

What is "CG"? Would have been better to use a carpet in that area IMO!

nicks in the phone holder/inside handle

Im getting these little white scratches from putting my phone or keys in the handle hole, and a few on the left side of my steering wheel. Pretty much anywhere that flat black paint is on the interior of my car seems to be an easy target for some bs nicks! Is there some kind of touch up paint and a protective coat i can use to fix it?
