bad idea??

hey guys, need a recommendation.

claybar'd last weekend so i want to get my zaino applied asap while the paint is as clean as possible. problem is i might be borrowing a porter cable to help with some swirls/scratches....i dont know when i will be able to borrow/ get a chance to use it soon.

so would it be ok to just do my standard procedure with zaino then if and when use the pc to remove swirls???
or is it not a good idea to use the pc for swirls/scratches after a freshly zaino'd car?

if it is ok to do this--would you recommend a final coat of z2 after pc'ing the car?

thanks in advance

I would definitely use the PC for scratch removal if you think you are capable. Some reading on autopia.org may also help with this. Generally, for swirl removal, I would use a rotary but if you are not familiar with that you could do some real damage. the PC i smuch more user friendly.

the polish step will remove your sealant and thus you should seal again following the polish. Also, I am a big fan of wiping the car down with a 50/50 alcohol/water mix following polishing and prior to Zaino to remove any silicon or oils that the polish may leave.

When you use a pc, you're removing the zaino along with the scratches/swirls. So you'll have to reapply the zaino after you use the pc.
