I use it on my black G-coupe all the time. I've noticed its very good at getting rid/concealing the swirl marks. Speaking of Zymol, I just grabbed the last bottle at Autozone about an hour ago =)

I have used the Zymol leather care products, and am pleased with them, too bad they don't have the leather smell some things do, but they do a great job!

I like the Zymol Wash. It smells Good, Has Banana, Coconut and other Fruit Oils to help condition the paint. I don't know whether to Wash with it or Drink it LOL

Re: How are Zymöl products?

my brother uses Zymol on a black car and he swears by it.
It hides swirls very nicely. But i dont think that it lasts too long, maybe a month?

nismo, can you explain to me what "conditioning the paint" means? isnt the paint already cured? sounds like a marketing ploy, seriously, who is gonna go out to his car, peel a banana and start wiping his car with it?

Re: How are Zymöl products?

Zymol is a good carnuba based wax. You'll get a good shine from it and it does a nice job removing swirl marks. I think it's a high effort wax to use thought. Once it dries to a haze it takes a lot of elbow grease to get off. For a really great shine, after you finish buffing off the Zymol wax, grab a spray bottle of clean cold water and spritz a little water on and rebuff the car in small sections, it really creates a nice mirror shine. But like any carnuba product, it will only last a few weeks.

Re: How are Zymöl products?

Zymol makes many great products other than just wax! Check out www.zymol.com. I bought the I think it is the starter kit which has about everything you need for inside and outside the car. You have the Vynil which is great for all the vynil plastic. A very natural and beautiful look. I will just say that ever at the delearship they NOTICE the difference it makes! I always thought that when I got the car that the interior was really dull and this stuff is excellent for that. The black vynil looks black and the black seats look black like they ought to! Oh yeah, Treat(leather conditioner) is great! It has an auto bathe called "Clear" which I only use once in awhile for a mid-week cleaning of the wheels because I go to car wash station near here. In the kit is a wheel cleaner spray gel which I love. It's the best part about washing my car is this stuff! Make sure you shake very, very well before use! It is expensive but you need hardly any at all to do the job with your horse hair brush that comes in the kit. After I dry the wheels all off after cleaning there is a wheel coat spray called "wheel coat". Supposed to provide barrier from brake dust and dirt and makes future cleaning easier and does help to make them shine very well. And then they have specially formulated waxes to choose from. I chose the Japon Creame which is specially formulated for Japanese cars and their special paints. It has a "detail wax" for all aerodynamic parts such as spoiler, mirrors, bumpers. Kit has a special towel, microfibre wipe that is great for taking off wax, applicator pads and another detail brush otehr than the horse hair brush for the wheels. And HD-Cleanse which you use before your first wax and about every 6 months to clean paint before waxing. Helps the wax stay on and last longer. I think that is it. I was going to wax today but I forgot to get my waxes out of the fridge to thaw so I will do it next week.

Here is what I have experienced with the Zymol waxes. Excellent! My car looks great because it's not very old but this makes it look that much better. The color is deeper, smoother, shinier. All the Zymol products give a very "classy" look. And my car will look better than anything on the showroom floor because of Zymol too! I have no trouble with putting the wax either. I do it right though! Follow the directions and it is easy on and easy off. Maybe that is why people have a hard time because they don't follow the directions. And it is a lot of fun to do too! Right when I got my wax in the mail I told him I got it and he said "oh that stuff is hard to take off!" Don't listen to these people. They don't do it right. Get the stuff and enjoy yourself and your car it is worth it! You know, the world series is on and I really want to watch it but this stuff is that good that I am taking this much time to tell you about it. Always remember, "A little Zymol goes a long way!" and it is true. You do not need much wax at all but just enough to cover the paint. And do a section at a time like it says.

Re: How are Zymöl products?

TooFast, you obviously have experience with a lot more of their products than I do. (i.e. the vynil, Treat, etc.) But just because people say it's tough to buff out don't infer that they don't follow the instructions. I've used it a bunch of times, and compared to other carnuba based waxes, it's tougher to buff out, even following the directions, using it sparingly, and only a half a panel at a time. If you don't think so, you've not tried easier to buff out waxes like Mothers. Don't get me wrong, I think Zymol leaves a great shine, but it takes a bit more effort than others I've tried. After hearing you rave about the other stuff they make, you have me wanting to try them out!
