I know this has probably been covered before, but I searched and couldnt't find anything... so can CG be applied to rims?

 

Yes, it can. I tested by putting it on my right rim, but not my left. When I went to clean them, the right was SO much easier to clean... I used Simple Green, though, and probably stripped some of the CG in the process.
