I also had no problems from the MF towels from Costco. They do a great job and they are reasonably price.
Sometimes people get got with name brands, try the Costco towels you will be happy with them

 

i use Griot's 100% cotton towels but under bright light i can see that
when the towel is applied to paint while dry (during mist and wipe) it
will cause a very light swirl... not detectible unless you get the
angle of light perfectly on the paint.

It didn't do this while it was brand new, but after washing it a few times
the fibers started to get harder, it seems. it doesn't swirl if i put a light
mist on the towel before applying to paint.

On the Griot's MF towels ive washed it many times and no swirling that i
can detect under the same conditions and applied dry.

just something to think about.
