IF YOUR LOOKIN' FOR A GREAT TINT?...

Hello, I recently took my car to this place in Carson, CA called The Tint Factory. They installed a smoke tint all the way around and it looks tight. I've had so many people ask me where I got it done that I decided to post it where people with my car could benefit.

If you live in the Southbay area, they are located off the 405 (Avalon Exit) and their address is
1007 E. Dominguez St.
Suite A,
Carson, CA 90746
310.516.TINT (8468)...okay there! Oh, and if a group of you get together, you may be able to get an even lower price. Ask for George, he's the Owner... Now stop asking! =)

Re: IF YOUR LOOKIN' FOR A GREAT TINT?...

I would love to see some pics.

Is there anyone that can recommend a good tint shop in the Orlando Florida area?

Well since you're volunteering this info I have a couple more questions for you.

If you don't mind my asking, how much did you pay and also what brand and type of tint is it? How dark is it? Did you do your front window? Details, details...

No, the place they were complaining about was in Torrance...this place was in Carson

Re: IF YOUR LOOKIN' FOR A GREAT TINT?...

I paid $150 for the rear window, two back windows and to front side windows...not sure on the brand, but he had a Hummer (H2) and a Lexus 430 in there too and I'm sure they wouldn't let just anyone touch those vehicles. Call them, they'll tell you what type of tint they use. Actually, use my name --Randy Hurtado-- and tell them a friend of yours came in with his G35C and ask what type of tint they used. As far as shades, there were 4 shades and I went with the 2 shade all the way around...

Re: IF YOUR LOOKIN' FOR A GREAT TINT?...

I asked the dealer about tinting the windows and they said that they could do it for me. I have heard good and bad things about tint shops and I would rather have the dealer do it........

Normally most dealers send the car to a tint shop, get it tinted, and then overcharge you on the tint. So in essence, there is no difference in quality, just in price.

Re: IF YOUR LOOKIN' FOR A GREAT TINT?...

But then isn't the dealer responsible for the quality of your tint? I wouldn't care who does, the dealer can get his cousin ***** to do it, but I just want some accountability if it starts to curl or bubble up...........

Re: IF YOUR LOOKIN' FOR A GREAT TINT?...

That's where warranty comes in........professional tint shops should offer warranty on the work they do and the tint they install. Dealers don't tint windows in house.........rather they send their cars over to a local tint shop.

Actually, the dealer never tints your windows. They have a contracted company either come out or they take it to their shop. Just thought you should know.

Re: IF YOUR LOOKIN' FOR A GREAT TINT?...

I was lucky, my dealer had tinted mine, and it was done by a shop that tinted my last three vehicles, and does fantastic work, so I know they stand behind theirs, and it doesn't bubble from my experiences!
