paint doesn't feel smooth
Re: paint doesn't feel smooth
I just dawn washed, clayed, and went over the car with a polishing compound. I have zero wax and polish on my car right now. It is smooth as glass!!!

You think this is actually an overspray of some sort? I think I will run mine by the dealer tomorrow and see what they say! I had mentioned the window haze to the salesman, but he couldn't see it, geez!

Re: paint doesn't feel smooth
I took my car by the dealer on Wednesday, they say they will take care of the "overspray" or whatever it is, so I am taking it in this week, we'll see how that goes. I think whatever it is had to settle on it like "dew" because it is nice and smooth on the lower sides, like below where the body curves. What might they use on a clearcoat paint? You think they are saavy enough on the clay bar?

Re: paint doesn't feel smooth
They have to do more than wash it, this is like an overspray that settled on the car, like dew, I imagine they will be having a body guy dealing with it, not their detail guy, so who knows!
