Question... I'll be getting a new 07 G sedan sometime in the next month or two.

I'm planning on having a clear bra put on it. My question is, should I Zaino the car before or after the clear bra? Was kinda worried that with Zaino being a polymer that it might react and fog the bra or something.

 

i personally wouldnt wax it until the paint has a good chnace to cure. There are varying opinions on that and everyone has a good arguement. I forego dealer prep for that reason. As for the clear bra, they use a deep cleaning solution to prep the surface that would take off the wax anyway.

 

usually an installer will use an alcohol prep on the paint service which will remove wax and other debris from the paint. Too much wax can cause the material not to adhere. You can wax the clear bra once it is installed.
