G35 wind/rain deflectors?

Does anyone know who might make window wind/rain deflectors for the G35? They are plastic pieces that attach along the top of your door that keep rain from dripping inside your car when your windows open. I've checked Pep Boys. They seem to be common for pickups and SUV's but not cars.

Whoever you are, please sell or trade in your G quickly! If I see these on a G, I will have hard time stopping myself from yanking them off!

I really don't think they would look good on a G, I don't think much of them anyway on any vehicle though! I wouldn't "yank" them off though, everyone has a right to have what they want!

Oops, forgot to use a well-placed "" in my last reply.

I agree that we should all do what we like as it concerns our cars, but let me ask you... short of offering a cash incentive, how can I convince you not to go this route?

chinee

if your first post didn't make me laugh, your one with cash incentives had me laughing out loud.

Re: G35 wind/rain deflectors?

guys, go easy on him, he is NOT doing it for the looks.
I have the same exact problem on the coupe, every time it rains, water leaks inside the window, on the inside of the door, on the leather, AND on my head when i am getting in/out!

It is a real big problem for me since it rains alot in michigan. Those wind/rain deflectors will not work on the G coupe because of the rimless design of our doors...it will take some custom work to get it done.

Not worth being the guinea pig on this one.

Rain is a problem with the G. If it keeps you and the interior dry, go for it!

Re: G35 wind/rain deflectors?

Thanks for the inputs. I want them because of rain dripping inside onto my white interior. Yes, I could always keep the windows up, but that's no fun. Maybe car manufactures' would get a clue about this issue if more people would bring it up!

The G is fine with the rain, at least compared to my Mustang Convertible, at least there is a "channel" above the doors to catch some water, the vert always got me soaked, along with the seat!

WeatherTech makes a set that don't use tape. The are fitted to go into the window slot. The go in by bending them into place and that force keeps them there.

Properautocare.com carries them for a $49.95 for the front and $89.95 for front and rear.

Ohhhhh what a ride!

"or how about a set of weird front dingle-bopper-thing-a-ma-jigs?"

haha i think i know what those are. it looks like something that a friend of mine put on her car to help her parallel park. it helped her gauge how far her car edge was from other objects.

ew for the doilies.

Re: G35 wind/rain deflectors?

I think you are talking about curb feelers, am I right? They make a sound when they touch the curb so you know you are close enough without hitting the curb, LOL, I should put one of those on the front valence so I don't scrape it!
