Touch-less auto car washes.

Does any one use the touch-less auto car washes? You know, the ones that use only high presure to clean the cars. I know my black G gets scratches just looking at it!?

Touchless won't hurt ya. It doesn't dry too effectively, but you won't get hurt. Great place to go in the winter to clean salt, etc. off the bottom of your car (if it has underbody spray)

just watch ur wheels. the guide rale things tend to scatch up the rims. I prefer the ones were u get out and spray the car down ur self. those are great cuz u can get the under boddy and any place u want,.

As Carlos said, if you have 18's, could be trouble!

DON'T DO IT!!! stay away from it. If you have the 18's it will scratch em. You might get away with it the first time but it will get you. Happened to me. I just go to a handwash place with no guard rails just good ol fashioned wash mitts and hose. Sure it'll cost you a whole 5 extra bucks. But it's better than damaging the rim and they vaccum the inside.

Re: Touch-less auto car washes.

The only problem I had, on my previous car, was something would leave spots on some of the semi-flat black areas, like soap or something, ruined a license plate frame ot two, and last time I used a car wash, my tires looked "brown" afterwards, not sure what that was! What I use to wash my car, is de-ionized water, that you buy in the gallon jugs, I wash my rims with the garden hose, then rinse with the de-I water, then wash the rest of the car with the De-I, leaves zero spots! I use those garden pump sprayers! Our water here is very hard!

Re: Touch-less auto car washes.

Please dont don it. Touch-less had ruined my previous car. I had a 96 Accord. After I used it, it look great, nice and wet. After a month, for some reason, there were a lot of those mark like when you put soap on your car and let it dry without cleaning it. I try to wash it off, wipe it off, but it doesn't go away. Touch-less is outa bussiness now I think. Don't do it man,

Those white marks are exactly what I was talking about, they must have changed their formula or something, I had never seen those before! I don't believe we have a hand wash place here, that's too bad, I would use it when it's cold for sure!
