Re: OPEN SUNROOF , RAINING!!
Never leave your sun roof open when not in the car. there are lots of other things that people can do to your car, such as dump garbage in it, steal it, burn it, or mother nature can rain in/on it. (better on than in it).
Sorry to hear about your problem and good luck cleaning it up maybe get the pro's to fix it for you it'll cost but that way you'll get the best job done.

Try using a wet dry vac just to remove some of the water deposits in your carpet....so it might help you in the drying process.

Re: OPEN SUNROOF , RAINING!!
Take your car to a highly reputable detailing shop.............if they're good, your car would leave almost as if your sunroof was never open. First, for my business, if a customer walks in w/ the same problem, I'd remove all of the seats and any pillars that doesn't hold any airbags. Second, I'd use a high pressure hot water extractor, which washes the carpet w/ a 210 degree heater and immediately extracts the water. In the meantime, the seats would be covered w/ clear garbage bags while dried w/ heaters........a sweating process, which doesn't damage the leather. By removing the seats in the rear, much water could be removed from there because that area is contoured. After the seats dry, shampooing and conditioning of the leaterh is necessary along w/ the carpet. The panels and molding would be dressed w/ UV protectant.
If the shop you talk to does something similar to this, then you're in good hands. Every shop has their own technique, but shouldn't vary too much. Hope this helps..........good luck!
