armrest indent

Lately, I notice the indent where my elbow rests on my door armrest in my Stone interior, looks a bit darker, don't know if it's just the light, or if some dye transfered from a sleeve, but I also rest my other arm on the center console lid, and it's not showing anything like that. Has anyone else noticed something like this in a lighter colored G interior?

Tom, I noticed exactly the same thing on my 05 with the stone interior on the armrest.

Thanks Wayne, guess it's just our heavy elbows!

No indent here, but the darker spot is probably from the oil in your skin attracting dirt on the panel. Try a good quality leather cleaner and conditioner. Lexol, Pinnacle, Zaino, etc.

I don't think mine was stained really, but there was a very prominent indent where I would rest my elbow, and it would look soiled where it really wasn't.

ohh, I thought you said indent. yea just some good leather cleaner should do that

just load the cleaner on, let it sit for a bit, and immediately follow up with conditioner.

I really like the mothers brand of leather cleaner and the zaino brand of conditioner

Yeah, that's what this looks like Wayne.

Yeah, it is an indent from resting my elbow there from time to time, what's odd is it's not like I ever neglect the interior, but it's minor.
