Zaino Rocks!
'Detailed cars for years, and have used many multi-stage products in my lifetime. This past weekend, I ventured into Zaino land, and am quite impressed.
Check these out for an idea of what Zaino looks like on Twilight Blue.
Enjoy!

Re: Zaino Rocks!
Twilight Blue is a stunning color, and I'm glad I chose it. You will really enjoy yours, too!
It is a bit high maintanance (like black), but with the Zaino and a California Duster, it is much easier to maintain.
Now if I could only control the Brake Dust! ~

Re: Zaino Rocks!
I believe I spent about 3 1/2 hours total. 'Will likely perform the ritual two more times over the next month. Though it is amazingly glossy now, even after a few washes. Believe it or not, it is difficult to keep water on it!

Re: Zaino Rocks!
It has approximately 3 Layers currently. I am considering 9 total, but will gauge that based on the results of the next application. This stuff is pretty impressive, and it seems to be quite durable (bugs/washing).

Re: Zaino Rocks!
Hey Lummer,
This is text that I cut/pasted from a recent email to a buddy of mine:
"Actually, its not much different than using regular wax.
You have to start out by stripping the old wax/sealants by using Dawn dishwashing detergent. Dawn cuts the old wax with no problem.
After that you claybar the car to prep the paint surface, using a detailing mist as the lubricant.
From there, you mix the Zaino (Z2) with what they call ZFX, which is really just a catalyst to speed the curing process of the product.
After you apply the Z2/ZFX mix (just like regular wax), you let it dry (30 minutes or so) and then use the Z6 Gloss Enhancer spray. I followed this process three times.
And that's really it!
This stuff lasts about a year, or so they claim, but the rants and raves on just about any car forum support that. Haven't had a single problem with water spots, and cleaning the car is soooo much easier now. I would recomend that you use microfiber towels though. You can get them at Walmart for about $5.00. They rock."
Well, that's about it, but let me know if you have other questions. - Take care
