Touch up Paints
You'll want to have a detailer look at it, as I believe much could be buffed out... There will still be at least scratch in the clear and definitely into the base coat where the indentation is -- might want to have a paintless dent repair service look at it first.
While that spot will never look perfect, it can be made to look much better, then use the touchup (and a touchup of clear over that) as a last resort in the areas actually missing paint.
I think you'll be amazed at how much of the "white stuff" areas actually do still have paint there, only the clear is roughed up so much it's refracting the white into the color.
Of course, it's hard to tell without seeing it first hand (pictures are hard to judge by when it comes to paint).
