if you are trying to remove old wax residue i suggest you visit your closes auto detail supplier. They have formulas that are specifically made to remove wax. I've heard of detailers saying that using Dawn may rob your paint of essential oils (thats what dish soap is made for, removing oils). I got a 1/2 gallon of prewash wax remover for about $7.

It has to be a high-end dish washing liquid like Dawn. Just get Dawn, and you will be safe. And it will strip the wax without affecting the paint.

The "Dawn" method is to be used ONCE IN A WHILE. If used to often, you will see paint damage. I only used it once, when I first used Zaino to start fresh.

oh, the answer to your question: Zaino recommends Dawn that is also handwash. And as long as it is not scented/fragrance dishwash soap.

Yeah, it does remove CG....

I've been using CG for 8 months now, and I plan on washing with Dawn once the spring rolls around, then clay-bar, then finally a fresh CG app

i'm sort of on the fence on this one. sal recommends dawn to remove old wax. i've been using klasse aio, but that's a rather expensive solution. another option is to use a prep solvent.
