i dont like the heated pipe way cause the plastic gunk stretches and sticks
to my window scraper. i just did it while the pipes were cool to the touch.

be careful when jacking up your car or while you're under there. make sure
you chock a tire if you're going to use ramps like me.
Agreed, I'd rather chip it off while its cold then make a big mess while its hot and breath in carbon dioxide , and yeah I can barely get under there so I need a jack, and I also need jack stands for the winter, any recemendations. thank you.

UGHHH No one told me it would be this hard to get off. First I tried getting it off while its cold, that sucked, then tried it while the pipes were some-what hot, that also sucked.

SO tomorrow I will return with a heat gun, let me know if thats a stupid idea.

The only thing worse than burnt plastic smell is running over a dead animal and having it's entrails stuck to the bottom of the car for a week...burnt flesh...yum.

I had this happen when I was driving one of my other lowered cars years ago. I thought, "I'll just ride right over it, I'm not THAT low.." *wrong*

Even after jacking the car up and spraying the leftovers with a hose, I could still smell it. I wanted to vomit every time I drove my car.

This happened to my G35 this summer. I also had blood & chunks of a dead animal all over the bottom of the car. It was on the exhaust, rear axle & the metal flange near the ATF pan. Luckily enough it missed everything crucial. The smell was horrible and like you, even after pulling off all the chunks and scrubbing the undercarriage from front to back with antibacterial soap it still stunk like [burning flesh] for nearly two months.
