Blue Dots on Rims

So, I went out to clean my tires with Zaino Z16 Tire Treatment when I noticed that my rims have small, blue dots on them. They look like stickers, but when you touch them, they feel more like rubber. I cannot get my finger nail under them to take it off. I cannot believe I have had my car for almost two months and I just now noticed them. Now that I know they are there, I can see them all the time. They are annoying.

Does anyone else have these blue dots? Does anyone know how to take them off?

Thanks in advance!
(By the way, Zaino Z16 looks great. I hope it holds up the way it is advertised).

If there is one dot per wheel, this is the marking for the light/heavy point on the wheel. Nissan matches this dot up to the light/heavy dot on the tire, in order to minimize the amount of wheel weights they need to put on the wheel. It should come off with some Meguires body scrub, or bug/tar remover

Blue dots
Yes, my car has them, too. They're gradually wearing away from being washed. I suppose a little paint remover would probably do the trick, but I haven't tried it.

Joey

Hey, thanks for the advice. There is one blue dot per rim. I will try to remove it this weekend.

You must have steel fingernails... mine are paint that look like it's been oven baked on!
Took some paint remover and about 6.3421 minutes per wheel... !

LOL
I will have to mark it on my daily planner to make sure I have the time!

I will try harder with my fingers before using chemicals.
