G35Girl, I couldn't find it at pep boys (I need to claybar the back of the car near the exhaust tips). I guess I have to find a napa or autozone near me...

I know Checker sells the Mother's Clay too (they are known by different names in other places, Kragen, or something like that)

I actually bought the Turtle Wax 2001 foaming Wheel Cleaner (no acid formula).....now don't laugh, on my 1994 corolla. Doesn't even work. My dad borrowed my corolla, and I drove my G for the weekend. When I cleaned my corolla, used up half the bottle on the wheels. I got more of the brake dust off with just soap and water.

zorro... i've also seen the mother's claybar kit at advanced auto parts ($15), in case you don't have a napa or autozone nearby. happy claybarring!

Tupak,
You spent 30K on the car, don't pinch on the details. Just go with Zaino. Its as easy as Z1, Z2, Z6, Z7, and ZFX (optional). Ok, well its not as easy as 1,2, 3, but they'll come out looking better than a turtle shell
The good thing is that if you have questions, (of course there's always the G35 forums) you can contact Sal Zaino himself.

haha, yeah.

I'm just waiting for my zaino supplies now. Going to use some dawn and then claybar it.

I didn't get any ZFX though, but like you said its optional, I might have to wait more for curing time...?

Re: Bought some car wash supplies....are these ok?

The ZFX is just a curing agent. Yes, you will just wait about 6 hrs without it vs 1 hr with it. I'm not really one to do all 4 coats at once, and I live in pretty decent weather (except for a freak flooding every 30 yrs), so I didn't opt for it either.
