Re: which kind of tint?

Get the new silver reflecting tint. It also keeps the car cooler besides reflecting the light. I had the silver on my last BMW and it looked great. Don't go so dark. Believe it or not making the windows darker doesn't necessarily keep your car cooler.

Re: which kind of tint?

I have a silver G35 as well and I put limo tints on it. I must say that I was impressed and very satisfied after I installed them. I was iffy at first about getting such dark tints, but am so happy I got them instead of reflective ones. It brings out the silver on the car and looks very elegant. I will post pics tonight or tomorrow so you can take a look. (I can't right now because I'm at work and am sneaking in. lol.)

Re: which kind of tint?

I put 30 percent black tint of my silver G. It looks excellent, very classy and a nice improvement over the stock glass look. I think the metalicized looks better on colors other than silver.

Re: which kind of tint?

Here are the pics I promised.

The first is my car with the 5% limo tints:

The second pic is of my car next to my boyfriend's car, a 350Z, which doesn't have tints as of yet, but you can see another angle of my tints.

Hope that helps in your window tinting quest.

Re: which kind of tint?

James: I have come across a new kind of tint. It is not metal but ceramic. I have asked on other forums and in a post on this one if anyone had heard of it. It is Huper Optik from Germany. Even the guys on the Corvette forum had not heard of it.

adr: Since the vette has such a large rear window, most guys use the darkest they can. Then they change out the backup bulbs for much brighter ones.

Anybody here used Huper Optik?

Thanks
