VERY random car wash question

After I wash the car there's always a bid drip coming out from under the side mirrors. No matter how many times I wipe it off it comes back. Even a day later there's a big drip line down both front doors. Other than sticking a piece of cloth under there any way to avoid this? I know it's kind of ticky-tack, but it really bugs me!

I HAVE THE SOLUTION!!!! what i do after i wash my car is i get a air duster and i spray it in places like under the side mirrors, door handles, under the grill, and rim lugs to get most of the water. that way there isnt any more water left. it works and will get 95% of the water out. the rest is just a pita sometimes. an advice on the mirrors is spray the air canister when the mirrors are folded in. hope that helps

I purchased a electric leaf blower to help speed up the drying process. Had the same problem on several cars with water dripping from the side mirrors. You can also use an air compressor as many car washes do, although be careful as this could potentially do some damage to the vehicle.

use an air compressor or a can of dust-off like robinchen suggested.

I use a leaf blower as well, but holding a folded MF towel at the crack and allowing it to wick away the moisture works also, may take a few tries though, and make sure you open and shut your doors before walking away and letting the car dry because there will still be some in the cracks that will seep out after some movement

I use a leaf blower to dry my G. The neighbors likely think I'm insane, but it is a quick and effective process...5 minutes with a leaf blower and the car is virtually dry, then I do a quick once-over with an MF towel.

Just make sure not to smack the car with the tip of the blower!

thats a great idea actually. what i did for the water under the side mirrors was i simply blew the water from under the mirror and that would stop.

b4 u dry--take off your sprayer from the end of the hose and using a light flow of water from the hose--let the water hit the roof,hood,deck,sides---this will sheet the water off your car giving u less to dry. In the shade, dry the car, open the doors/trunk--dry the jambs, semi-slam the doors--dry the excess, articulate the mirrors-open/closed--dry excess. THEN, drive the car around the block--preferably just outside your subdivision on a 40 mph zone for a couple mins(not too much as you pick up dust on rear bumper). Come back and wipe the excess on your 2 front doors and rear bumper area etc. You should be good.

I NEVER have so much as one drip line!
