The front of my 02 WRX looked like it had been sandblasted after five MA winters and 70 mi. commute each day.

My G didnt leave the lot without a clear bra, even though I probably paid 200 - 300 more for it to be done by the dealership. If you live in snow country it is a must.

 

I am having ours done this week. I have found 3 spots already. I will touch them up as best I can and cover 'em up. Dealer never offered an upsell to me, I called a few places after delivery got prices ranging between $520 and dealer at $795!. Here's a tip...call a place that does graphics on vehilces. I called the guy that did my company trucks, it took him 3 days to call me back but he's doing the front end, hood and mirrors...ready?...for $390.00!!

Sedan should be close to the same prices as the coupe.

 

The problem with the G35 is that it sits so low to the ground and the way the hood is so exposed because of its downslope. There is nothing unusual about the paint, it is just the design - makes it look great, but exposes it to chips.

Design of the vehicle has nothing 2 do with it. I drove a C5 for 5+ yrs. Had fewernicks and such on my c5 after 5 yrs than 8 month w/ the G. I Zaino'd both cars shortly after purchase. Also Ibought my vette w/ 21,xxx miles my G only had 13,xxx miles on it at purchase. Sad to say but the Nissan paint sux on our cars.
