Interior touch up paint?

So the old threads from 2k4 are dead. Can anyone point me in the direction of the paint (I think it was Testors model paint) that matches the metallic dash plastic?

I'll have pics of some cool stuff if I can get this done. . .

I think the model paint you both are referring to matched the non-premium interiors only......

If you have the premium package, the more silver/titanium looking finish, I don't think you will be able to match it with testors paint......

I used to mix two different testor's colors to try and touch up my stock 18"rims.....(which is a close match to the console dash trim) I believe it was Anthracite gray and silver.....

Maybe a body shop could mix/match something close.....

Hope this helps.....

I need something to touch up the premium silver interior also. What crap quality those plastics are

If I get a chance to stop by a body shop I'll post my results.

Thanks adawar. Try and find out what paint(s) they use too.

GR8TG35: I could have sworn up and down that I saw a thread somewhere with a dude holding up a piece of painted plastic to the "premium" painted plastic (haha! Allow myself to introduce. .. myself.) and it was a darn close match. I just can't find it for the life of me. BAH! Lousy ultra specific searches! I don't even know what key words to look up anymore. I wish they had an "exact phrase" search function.

But alas, I'll keep looking and post results when I find 'em.

Thanks everyone!

You may be right. I do remember a while ago somebody posted a thread about matching his revised air vent areas to match the willow/titanium finish.
I couldn't find the thread though, sorry guy......if I come across it again, I'll be sure to PM you the post #

It took me almost 10 minutes to find this ... racking my brains trying to figure out the right key words to use in the search.

https://g35driver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=114902 (but this is for the Willow interior only)

PS - I still havent had time to stop by a body shop

I stopped by a reputable body shop, they weren't confident that they could make a match for the interior silver metallic dash plastic colour.

I am thinking about getting a second opinion.
