Clear Bra on other areas of car?

I guess this is the right spot to post this.

I had 3M put on my G on Tuesday on the following areas:

hood, fenders, bumper, lights, rear view mirrors, door edges and door cups

Anyone have it put on area in front of sunroof and on top of bumper area below trunk lid? Other areas?

Thanks!

basically you want to cover your whole car with a clear bra. seems like overkill to me. hood, fenders, lights, and rear view mirrors is plenty. i haven't seen it done to the roof or rear bumper.

I don't have it in those areas, but when I had my clear bra put on, the guys at the shop said they could put it anywhere...even over the entire car.

dont forget to clearbra your wheels... jk

geez, that's a lot of clearbra you got on there. you know that it
swirls very easily even if you rub your finger on it.

I was interested in having clear bra put on my hood, front aftermarket bumper, and sideskirts. With all the rocks and debris from the wheels, I thought having the sideskirts done would be a good idea. Any comments?

The top of the rear bumper is sometimes a good idea. It can get scratched from things that are being loaded into the trunk.

The sideskirt area is an idea, but it may be better to spray on some of the clear "Gravel Guard" type stuff. It has a thick, slightly orange-peel type texture, and does a good job on protecting against stuff thrown up from the road.
