Need Help - marks in the paint

the color of my car is IP (which is also stated in my signature)..and around 6 or 7 when the sun was setting i looked at my paint under the light from the sun and i noticed when viewing it from a close distance ...there are marks in the paint..i think which were caused by a cotton towel i used once...so no the paint doesnt have large swirls in it or anything....and it seems that the only light i can see these imperfections is under that sunset lighting...when its mid-day and the sun is out seems like i cant see anything..well...i just needed some help on how to get my paint back to perfect...i have the whole zaino kit and havent used the Z5 (swirl and scratch remover) yet...will seee if that works...hopefully it does...or do you guys suggest i get a PC and use that...also maybe using some type of polish would help? ....or maybe taking it to a professional detail shop to get all the imperfections out and then from then on doing the waxing myself? ....im preparing to do a lot of mods to the car and i definitely need my paint back to looking picture perfect..thanks guys ...i appreciate the help

Z5 doesn't remove swirls, it only hides them. Use meg's scratch-x for spot removal of swirling/scratches

ScratchX is typically applied by hand. If this doesn't do the trick, I'd recommend looking in the Menzerna line of polishes, which are often regarded as some of the best on the market, especially if you have access to a Porter Cable. Let us know how you make out and if you have any questions on anything.

Good luck!

if its the newly reformulated scratch-x, you can apply by hand or with a PC. If you have access to a PC, then there are better polishes probably. I was under the assumption you didn't have one

Z5 is a very good product. I'd do a couple of coats of Z5 then a coat of z2 and then a coat of quick detailer to give it some pop.
