Good ol break dust!

Anyone else here a freak about cleaning your wheels daily? I just love spending hours getting the car looking awesome only to come home later to dusty *** wheels.

Yup, brake dust is quite annoying. Makes the car feel/look old after driving it after a few hours. I'm too broke to even upgrade in some quality aftermarket brake pads

Stop using brakes

or just polish your wheels so they will be very smooooooooooooooth and dust will not stick.

Yes i wash the rims every 2 days or so. I will be upgrading the pads either at the end of this month since i'll be cruising to the beach often, Or ill put up with the cleaning every to days until the stockies wear out.

Time will tell

doesn't work. Yes the dust comes off a little easier once the wheels cool down but they still get dusty.

Hawk brake pads... I bought a set for the fronts only because the rear rarely gets dust..... with the stock pads, major noticeable dust I'm talkin the type that makes your rims look GUNMETAL METALLIC in a matter of 2 usually 3 days depending on driving. With the new Hawks, I'd say it's a 90% improvement.... I only see a tiny amount of brake dust between washes... I wash the car once every two weeks... the front pads cost me $80.. well worth it

Try using Wheelwax. My last G35 used to leave lots of brake dust on the front wheels. After applying Wheelwax, the build-up was not nearly as bad and they definitely were easier to keep clean. I have used it ever since.
Here is their site: http://www.wheelwax.com/

I have the Axis brake pads. They give off the least amount of brake dust I've ever seen...however they have some serious bite to them. I think I might swap them out fairly soon for some more dusty less bite pads.

I try to just wipe mine's off here and there but the dust is annoying. When it got cold outside I didn't wash my car for 2 months and when I got the chance the dust buildup on the stockers was so bad the water the pured off them looked like Pepsi!

My 05 makes very little dust, and the polish I keep on the wheels keeps it from sticking to any degree.

Yeah, I'm tired of the brake dust too...I'm out there every 3 or 4 days.
