Re: Update

You can call Andy from Executive Motoring at 713-467-7000 for clear bra solution. They have the Laser pre-cut/pre-molded, non-fading/no-scratch type of clear bra.

i still have my 92 camry with 250k miles and have quite a few on the hood but surprising how few on the bumper considering the mileage. the g's paint is definitely thinner.

Seriously, the only chips I have noticed are in the windshield, tiny ones, oh, except for the previously mentioned one!

Re: Rock chip problems??

I have chips al over the font and sides of my laser red. My front bumper had some originally but the dealer hit something with it and repainted the bumber. The new paint is much better and i have no chips there now. When i complained to the dealer about the rock chips, they were like, we put 3 coats of paint on these, blah blah, never heard any complaints blah blah. Just something that we have to deal with. Mine is a lease, ill just get another one in 2 more years.

As for the comment on seat belts i have the same problem. My drivers door is all chewed up from the belt getting caught between the door and the seat. I am going to have the dealer replace the door panel soon. I think that a solution to that problem is removing the little plastic stopper that keeps the belt clip up a the top and let it slide to the bottom. It should not keep the belt from working properly and should keep the buckle away from the door panel.

The paint quality on my G is not as good as my 330. However, my wife's Maxima is about as good. Go figure....
