Headlights Cleaned

Latley I have noticed that my headlights look like ****, so I decided to do somthing about it. A friend told me he had somthing to clean it up I didnt beleive it would work so I went to my friend house to borrow some plastx.

And wow what a HUGE differance it made!

Comparing the Clean VS Dirty (sorry forgot to take pics of both dirty)

Dirty

Clean

CleanVSDirty

The yellow Sh*t that came off the head lights (plastx is blue)

More cleaned shots.

I always used Meguiar's Deep Crystal step 1 followed by step 3 wax. Works great.

VQ, nice job cleaning the crap off your lights with PlastX. I did the same thing when I first got the G, and the result is like night and day. Only thing is, the yellow haze gradually comes back after a week or so parked outside so the PlastX must be constantly applied. Other than that, it's the perfect solution for yellowed headlights.

Great product, my porshes had glass lenses and they would polish up great. My last car had plastic and IO drive a ton, they got pitted and after about 100K were worthless, I drove that way for another 200K. When I boughtthe G, I decided to go with clear bra, and had them do the headlights, I figure I can changethese out every year or so. For short money you can pick these up pre-cut and change them out as needed. I wish I had known about this plastic polish sooner.
