question about minor scratches

the minor scratches that are on my car, is there a permanent way to get rid of them? Waxing it doesn't seem to get rid of them. Are there ways to prevent them from happening? I'm using microfiber towels to dry and a sponge to wash.

Re: question about minor scratches

Only permanent way to remove scratches is by machine. However, proper machinery, chemicals, and technique is required to remove swirls and surface scratches permanently. All of this should be done by a professional detailer.

As for scratch prevention, just make sure everytime you wash your car......everything that touches it must be clean: water, towels, clay.......etc. Generally, scratches come from dirty sponges or towels.........having these items dirty are similar to using 2500 grit sandpaper to wash the car.
