Anyone use an orbiter?

Anyone use an orbiter to wax your G? I'm using zaino wax. Was thinking an orbiter would help. Anyone have any personal experiences and pros/cons? Thanks

You mean a random orb like PC ? There are quite a few folks on this forum that use PC.
I know Garnet Canuck uses one and so does picus .... many more for sure.

there is a detailing sub-forum -- this question might get more attention there

I have one but I don't use it to apply Zaino since you waste so much of it on the pad when applying it. Zaino goes on very easy by hand, it is a total waste to use a PC for it.

^+1. I agree that Zaino is very easy and quick to apply by hand and requires very little polish for a coat (about 0.5oz). You certainly could apply with a PC but as GEE35X stated you would be wasting a fair amount of polish. At the end of the day it's up to you since it's your car and your $.

I apply all of my sealants via PC simply because it allows me to apply them in a consistent manner. I will continue to apply sealants via my PC and carnubas by hand.

I'm the opposite. I'd much rather apply by PC and remove by hand. Applying your sealant via PC will give you a much more consistent result versus applying by hand.......IMO!

Yes. It's not common to remove with a machine. Most good sealants and waxes remove very easily by hand.

I agree that PC application gives even application. But Zaino goes on very thin and applying with pc will definitely use much more product. I don't recommend application by pc on Zaino products. Apply with mf or applicator pad very very thin coats.
