Carbon Fiber Hood Care

So my CF hood looks gross and has lost any of its shine. Its hazy, blurry, etc... and I don't know what to do to fix it. I've had to street park it for a few months, so it may be due to UV exposure. Any recommendations on how I can bring the shine back out, if at all possible?

My friend has a professional buffer. If I take the buffer to the hood, would that fix the problem? Otherwise, should I just bring it to a detail shop? Thanks!

i just went through this, on mine the clear coat was completely trashed so there was no hope. I have since removed the hood and put the stock one back on. My friend buffed the hood for three hours before Z nationals since I was in the car show, but two days later the haze was back and the shine was gone. I will you the best of luck on getting the hood to come back to life.
