so did you actually blow the whole car dry and spotless? or did you just use it for the cracks and stuff on the car?
if you used it to dry the whole car did it actually work and come out good?

Why not just use a MF dehydrating towel? They work wonders and takes just a matter of a couple of minutes to wipe down your entire car spot free.

I think one of the big advantages with the blower is with the wheels and lug holes and some of the other crevices like grille, fuel door and trunk. I don't have a blower but I'm sure it would work well in those places. Otherwise I agree it only takes me about 5-10 minutes to dry my car.

I do have a reverse shopvac but don't like the idea of any possible dirt blowing at the car.

That is exactly what I use one for, blowing water out of the door handles, mirrors, spoiler, grille, works great for that. I have a B&D cordless, small, easy to handle. I agree, I wouldn't use a vacuum in reverse, you never know what might come out.

my wheels have like half a gallon sitting in the inside dish of every rim after I wash it, it takes like two mf towels just laid on their to soak it up off every wheel....then I go back to dry them so there wont be any water spots....then when I'm all done polishing my car I go back to polish my wheels last thing to get them to shine....

a leaf blower would be chill to help for saving those extra towels

Dude just go Lowes and buy a lawn & garden leaf blower. I've been using my gas blower for years it saves on towels big time. I can completely dry my car with one towel if I use my blower. I use another towel for the rims. But if I dry with towels only it takes me like 3 towels for the car and 1-2 for the rims. Saves time also. This is an old tip/trick of the detailing trade.

Been using my leaf blower for as long as I can remember. But I only use it after I wiped the car down. Works great on window sills, grille, wheels, headligths & taillights, side mirrors. Makes a world of difference when you get the car all dry and I mean dry. My neighbor always gets a kick out of it when he see's me using my leaf blower on the car. He keeps telling me "it for your lawn not the car"! LOL!

get the most powerful toro one from home depot. its like 60 bucks and is easily one of the most powerful electrics. something like 200+ mph wind rating or something insane like that.
