I use a leafblower when I wash my car at my parents house. The only downside is that they have a backpack leafblower so to get the top of the car I have to lift the whole thing and hold it up to reach..the thing is by no means considered light weight..

Not a good idea, use a dedicated car leaf blower or else you may blow dust/leaf particles onto the paint

I've been using my Toro for quite some time. Make sure you blow the driveway out first so you don't kick anything up at the car. After a few coats of Zaino the water just glides off. I also find it useful for the wheels. I've used a faux chamois too. It takes about the same amount of time IMO but use a chamois if you what to get more personal with your G.

+1....also to get water from under the gas filler cover

I'm guessing you don't own a BO coupe. It really sucks for us black G's because leaving it spotless via leaf blower drying method is almost impossible.

I've tried it a few times, and the tiny droplets left behind dry up very quickly, and becomes noticeable.

Yeah, I've ran into the same problem with my black G, the solution with me is that I spray a coat of Z-6 or Z-8 on and after I dry with the leaf blower.

Makes for a lot of work though, maybe someone has a better idea.

You don't have to have a dedicated blower for the freakin car. Just so long as your blower doesn't have a vacuum feature. Then you could blow old particules of leaves and dirt on the car otherwise your ok. I have been using
my gas blower for over 5 years with no problems. Why buy more equipment and stuff that you don't need. People make stuff harder than it really is.
