Exclamation HELP! Best chrome wheel cleaner???

CRAP. I'm a friggin idiot.

So I finally got out my chrome wheels from last summer and was going to slap them on my coupe, when to my HORROR, i see all kinda of grime and filth and like green little deterioration marks on them. ugh.

I'm stupid because when I got them back from Infiniti from switching out my winter rim setup, they were all bagged up, and I didnt bother to check them out and clean them before I put them in storage.

I'm kicking myself.

Anyway, is there some really heavy duty cleaner out there I can use on these chrome rims? Any tips? I heard amonia and water really helps get chrome clean but I'm scared to use that without any experience....

PLEASE PLEASE Let me know your ideas! I'd like to get them on this weekend, but I can't put them on like this. Thanks!!!!!!

If you have little green spots and the chrome is turning colors that sounds like oxidization. Black Magic wheel cleaner can give your wheels most of there bling back but the oxidization depending on how bad it is may need to have the wheels redipped.

if they are really chrome, then any good wheel cleaner such as meg's chrome wheel cleaner or eagleone's all wheel cleaner should work fine. Follow up with some chrome polish with a mother's powerball and they should be like new

do NOT use meg's or eagle one!!!! They both have chemicals in them that will dull the chrome. I found out the hard way.

use the Turtle Wax chrome cleaner/polish. You have to be very gentle so as not to scratch the chrome with the debris.

Eagle One A2Z is a great OTC wheel, tire, well cleaner. I would recommend to any and all.
