Zaino Perfect Tire Gloss

Has anyone tried this? Its a little pricey ($12.95) compared to other tire gloss's I can find at Pep Boy's. I usually use Meguired Tire Shine on my car and it works well, but doesnt last for more than 5 days.

Is this worth it?

Re: Zaino Perfect Tire Gloss

I haven't tried the Zaino yet but right now I'm using some Eagle One. I also bought the little curved applicator pads. I've never liked spraying any tire treatment directly on the tire (hits the wheels, spashes off the tires onto the fenders, etc). The little pads work great for any product. I think I got them at Walmart.

Re: Zaino Perfect Tire Gloss

The Zaino isnt a spray, its something you rub on. The Meguires tire shine I was using was a spray. It had three different size settings (low profile, med, large), so it was pretty easy to apply without getting stuff everywhere.

I think I bought the Meguires for 5 or 6 dollars. $13 is a lot, is it worth it?

Re: Zaino Perfect Tire Gloss

I LOVE Zaino tire gloss. I use it for everything. Dressing up the wheel wells, rubber/plastic trim around the car, and under the hood dressing. Works great! Doesn't sling and isn't slimey. It doesn't give you a "wet" look though. Its a satin type finish. And if you want it to last long, I suggest two coats, 20 minutes apart.

Re: Zaino Perfect Tire Gloss

So what does it look like after it is applied? Just normal rubber?

It looks amazing. It looks "expensive" is best how I feel about it. A tire with zaino gloss next to a tire with armor all or any of those types, and you will see a difference. One will look shiney. The other will look "rich" and full of life.

Damn, I already bought some stuff from Zaino yesterday, but I didnt add the tire gloss. Now if i want to order it, it will cost me $20 because of shipping.

Re: Zaino Perfect Tire Gloss

you have a 30K+ car and you're worried about 12.95 for tire gloss? I have a 15.99 bottle of 303 aerospace protectant. you spent the money on the car, don't go cheap maintaining it.

I haven't tried Zaino, but just picked up Turtle Wax- Tire Wax. I really like it! Not as messy as some of the others. Got it at Pep Boys.

Since I have all the money in the world(since I bought the coupe) I just have my slaves take care of my car! I think killing a live chicken on the wheels gives them the best shine, but a little expensive at 4.00 a tire. Its the classiest!!!

Re: Zaino Perfect Tire Gloss

I sprung for the Zaino Tire gloss when I ordered my kit. I tried it out and it lives up to all the hype. No slinging here either, and I do like the look much better than all the other "greasy" alternatives. I've tried all the "over the counter" brands, and have to say this stuff is great.

Re: Zaino Perfect Tire Gloss

I don't like the zaino tire gloss at all. It'll last about 40 miles and it loses it's shine. Afropuff is right, it does leave a satin finish (up to 40 miles), but I like the high gloss the meguiars purple gel offers. The meguiars doesn't sling off as well and last at least a week or more.

Re: Zaino Perfect Tire Gloss

I saw the Meguires tire gel at Pep Boys the other day. I bought the Black Magic Tire Gel instead. They look about the same, but the Black Magic was on sale. Plus, it has a thirty day money back gaurantee.
