Re: Door Dings???
$65-75 for the first ding, about 10-20 for any others while they are already in there.
One *very* important thing about dentless repair, while the results are impressive and I do recommend it based on my experience, they often want to drill a small hole in the jam or under the door. They dont like taking door panels off.. Personally, I didnt like the idea of the small plug, but I'm really picky. A small rubber plug on the unseen inside of your door is better than a ding. I had it done on my maxima. I was pretty happy. However, I had them go in the top. They put some wedges between the glass and door to gain access. I think that would royally f'up a coupe window track. We already have issues enough..
So, I would remove the panels for them if they dont want to or discuss the other access options with them.. you know so you wont have to freak out when you find the rubber plug. They showed me some, you really cant tell where they usually do them.
I was worried about leaving my car with them (yeah, the maxima, thats just me
The guy put it pretty simply "Everyone who comes here is picky. Who would pay $75 to fix a ding that most people ignore? Customers like you." It was true, they did a great job and even buffed out where it had scuffed.
That was a dent doctor.. its a pretty big franchise.
I had a honda that was hit by a BB
They were honest at Dent Dr, I wouldnt be happy with the result, the ding was too deep and pointed.. Alot of paint would come off too.. They suggested filling it.. Anyway, I appreciated being turned away instead of getting a crappy fix.

I hit my friggin garbage can backing out of my driveway and put a 2" crease right behind the pass side front wheel opening..wasn't very noticeable since my car is white...but I knew it was there..When I went to my dealer to repair by scuffed rim I had them pull the dent for me $100....well worth it!!! 99.9% unnoticeable at this point...two repairs in one day and now my coupes as good as new...I live in south jersey...check with your dealer...maybe they have the same service...2old4this
